| Taylors Quick Stop was built in 1978 as a Wil-Mart Convenience Store. It was later called _____________, and now is Taylors Quick Stop, a Texas Panhandle Chain. This lot was the location of a Phillips Service Station for many years, a building moved from its mid-town location where the Dean Thrasher family now live. It was run by Bedford Berry, the Hopson Twins, Charles Brown and others. | |

| D.J's Quick Stop was built by the Jack Kleppers who ran both it and the Laundromat they built behind it for several years. They later built a Liquor Store just east. It was run by Ethel Reed for awhile;, and later bought by Rex Miller and run by Mollie Huddleston. Empty for sometime before Greg Walls uses it for his All-Star Metal Systems business. | |

| The Dairy Kreem building was built by Uyless Hawkins in the late 1950s. Emery Elliott bought the business in 1962. Some Overtons had it for awhile. It has been owned and run by some of the Elliott family since then. Emery Elliott started a car wash that was suppose to have equipment built by the Dunilak Corp. that never ever got finished. He later added a Western shop just east of there. | |
