Can You Give Us Some Help?

Name of team?
Players and Coach?

It's been over 50 years, but I believe the boy on the bottom left, second inside (with blonde hair) could be Dean Hood, who lived next door to my Grandparents, T. & Alma Lloyd. I believe this would have been taken in 1958 or close. I played Little League in Texhoma about that same time but Dean and I were not on the same team. I recognize some of the other boys but I just can't put a face to the name. Hope that helps.
John Ray Cover Spear
I traveled from Albuquerque, NM to Texhoma each summer from when young -age to about 14 or so.

top left, the first boy is Mike Ross, 5th from the left(without a hat) Gobel Clark. The coach looks like Leland Daniels to me.
front row, the one without a cap is Jim Ross
The team is the Cardinals
The picture was taken in the early 60's. My family moved to Texhoma in 1961 and I knew these boys when they were this age.

OPSU Band??
Year?
During Fiesta Days?
Who is the lady talking to band member?

School Play?
Year?
Who are they?
Name of the play?

"I don't remember the name of the play, but it was either the jr or sr play for our class(1960), so it probably was 1959 or 1960. The actors are:(I believe) Rex Miller, Pat Shubert, Jo Marie West, LaNell Thrasher(Ellis) on couch, Lora Long & Larry Kirk." so relates Judy Throne(Carlile) Class of 1960

Seniors met for?
Year?
In what building?

May have been taken in the basement of the old Baptist Church. I recognize one person in the center. A Mr. Settles and I am wondering if those are "seniors" from around the Panhandle. Supplied by Marilyn Freeman Cluck and Georgia Freeman Pearcy (1962)

Marilyn Freeman Cluck class of 1959. After looking at the Fiesta Day Old Timers picture taken in 1960 and looking at this picture, I am going to say this is the same group of people at the same place and the same time, but this picture was taken from a sitting position or by a short person. This picture is not as clear as the one identified as 1960 Fiesta Day Old Timers, but the same people are in it, or someone was very clever and decided to have all come back a few years later wearing the same thing, carrying the same thing and lined them up the same. I say the camera was lower because you can't see the plaques on the wall and the closet on the left and door on the right in this picture, but if you look real close, you can make out a couple of things in the background. It could still be the basement of the Baptist church, but I don't remember them having a wooden floor. Is it the community center, before they did all the work on the place? So this is a group of old timers meeting for Fiesta Day in 1960 in the Community Center before it was renovated. I think I recognize Mr. Settles, Mrs. Wyatt, Phoebe Gist, Mrs. Krull and the other two names slip me at the moment. This is fun, but put some new pictures in and tell us about these. Marilyn

Who is receiving the award?
What was the occasion?
When was it?
Where did it occur?
Who are the other people present?

"I believe the couple on the left are Bill & Freda Wooten." so relates Judy Throne(Carlile)

Marilyn Freeman Cluck and Georgia Freeman Pearcy (1962) supplied this answer: Was taken in the basement of the old elementary school. Also, the person receiving the award is Tommy Welch, the man standing on the right. Ann Dawson Welch is sitting behind the flowers. The two people sitting on Ann's right are Bill and Freeda Johnson Wooten.

Who?
When?
Where?
Why?

"The lady on the far left is Georgia Hook (Mrs. Jay) I think that was her name, mother of Bruce, Mary Ann & Martha Lee". so relates Judy Throne(Carlile) Class of 1960

Left to Right- -Georgia Bruce Hook, Mrs. Preston ( the mother of Ginger Roach), Clara Evans Royce, and Maud Wyatt. Sorry, but we couldn't remember Mrs. Preston's first name. Taken in the Methodist church, but don't know what was taking place. Supplied by Marilyn Freeman Cluck and Georgia Freeman Pearcy (1962).
